    »The corporate elite
    Can someone please help me out here? I am confused. The corporate elite are all up in arms over losing their tax cut, yet they have not taken advantage of them to create any new jobs. If they had been creating jobs, they probably wouldn't be losing the the tax credit that they failed to take advantage of.

    At the Sept. 4 farmers market, I spoke to a city representative about the new parking meters. The lady said that the decision to go with the meters was made in 2007.

Unemployment is still high, economic indicators indicate sluggish growth and low consumer confidence. Now, President Obama is proposing to inject another $100 billion into the economy.

    Maybe the District Attorney should look into the $150,000 spent on the name change fiasco as well as the Water Project. I have been privileged to have called Oxnard my home for 40 years, and all of my friends and associates have always wanted for Oxnard to have all of the best that any city can have.

I live downstream from the lab, have seen the questionable water in the creek on Black Canyon and wondered what was in it.
