A CBO (community based organization) that is very involved with labor organizations within the Ventura community. It has been very involved with the Stop Ventura Wal-Mart efforts (now "Livable Ventura"). Wal-Mart is one of the few non-union retail shops in the nation.

CAUSE is also involved with the Ventura County Living Wage Coalition, the Women's Economic Justice Working Group, Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice, the No on LNG efforts, healthcare for all regardless of immigration status, etc.
